Initial assessment---
If your company has an ISO 9001 certificate, Initial assessment
is a paper matter.
Start testing----
We will need 1 set of brake pads per reference for vehicle
testing. The static tests like shear-, compressibility and
friction level testing, will be accepted from your own testing
facility, providing the procedures and calibration is part of
your quality system. This will also build the relation on the
initial tests and the COP testing after production has started.
Issue of certificates---
The manufacturer is held to check the production on a regulated
base.
The results of these
checks are registered by the manufacturer.
RDW is, as the Approval
Authority, responsible for auditing the process.
Our Certification
department will, after issue of the Compliance Statement, make
an appointment with the manufacturer to visit the premises after
the period of validity.
Costs.---
The costs for R90 E4 approvals depends on the ability of
combining WVA nrs. or types of brake pads in 1 test. In order to
give you the best deal possible, I would like to invite you to

then provide you with a suiting quotation with the best effort
possible to accommodate your needs.
